2008 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP REGULATIONS

The club championship regulations for the stage and road championship will be run the same as last year. 2008 will see a new point system for the Nav run championship details can be found below.

The 2008 road and stage rally championships will be run as follows:

The amount of points a contender acquires will depend on how many starters there are in the event. (i.e. If an event has 60 starters and a club members finishes 1st overall, then they will win 60 pts, if they finish 2nd O/A they will win 59pts and so on.) If an event has more than 100 starters then the max basic amount of points a contender can receive is 100 if you finish 100th or below you will receive 1 point.

Also if you marshal or an event organiser at an event you can receive a 25 extra bonus points but this can only be used once though out the season. You can not began an event as a competitor and finish as a marshal you will not receive points.

If a member wins an award such as 1st overall or 3rd in class or even spirit of the rally or any award that is mentioned in the event regulations then they will win bonus points. The bonus points are as follows:

1st overall: 20pts - 2nd overall: 15pts - 3rd overall: 10pts

1st in class: 15pts - 2nd in class: 10pts - 3rd overall: 5pts

Spirit of the rally or likewise awards: 10pts

A contenders best 8 score will be used for the championship throughout the year.

Any MSA event counts for points towards the championship, but if the event you have entered is a none ANWCC event you need to provide Simon with your results. (Your results will be checked.)

Nav Run Championship 2008:

This Year we have decided to change the points format due to more members competiting on navigational runs so therefore points will be given as follows:

1st: 20 pts - 2nd: 15pts - 3rd: 12pts - 4th: 10pts - 5th: 8pts - 6th: 7th
7th: 6pts - 8th: 5pts - 9th: 4pts - 10th: 3pts - 11th: 2pts - 12th: 1pt

Organisers of each event receive 20pts
