CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

2010 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP REGULATIONS
All club Championships will be run in accordance to the following regulations
The
2010 Road and Stage Rally championships will be run as follows:
All
championship contenders MUST be a fully paid up club member.
To
claim championship points you must enter each event under Broughton-Bretton
Motor Club on your entry form. Unless the event you have enter is outside a
region Broughton-Bretton are not members of ie ANCC
To claim points for an event you must be a paid club member at the time you
enter the event.
You
must submit your results to the championship co-ordinator (see details as bottom
of page) either via text, phone, phone, email or in person, your results must
not be submitted 1 month after the event has been, if you do your points will
not be counted.
The amount of points a contender acquires will depend on how many starters there
are in the event. (i.e. If an event has 60 starters and a club members finishes
1st overall, then they will win 60 pts plus bonus points, if they finish 2nd O/A
they will win 59pts and so on.)
If
an event has more than 100 starters then the maximum amount of points a
contender can receive are 120 if you finish 1st. (100 for finishing 1st
overall and a bonus 20 points for coming first overall)
If
they finish 100th or below you will receive 1 point plus any bonus points for
class or other event awards awarded
Also
if you marshal at an event or are an event organiser at an event you can receive
a 25 extra bonus points but this can only be used once though out the season.
You cannot began an event as a competitor and finish as a marshal you will not
receive points.
If
a member wins an award such as 1st overall or 3rd in class
or even spirit of the rally or any award that is mentioned in the event
regulations then they will win bonus points. The bonus points are as follows:
1st
overall: 20pts – 2nd overall: 15pts – 3rd overall:
10pts
1st
in class: 15pts – 2nd in class: 10pts – 3rd overall:
5pts
Spirit
of the rally or likewise awards: 10pts
A
contenders best 8 score will be used for the championship at the end of
the year.
Novice
Award: To be eligible for a novice award in 2010 you must have not won more
than two class or overall award in any national B status event before January 1st
2010. If you start the year as a novice and move up as the year progresses, you
will still be eligible for the BBMC Novice Award. There must be at least 2
contenders for the award at the end of the year for the award to be awarded

Any
MSA event counts for points towards the championship, but if the event you have
entered is not ANWCC event you need to provide the championship co-ordinator
with your results. (Your results will be checked.) These results must be
provided no later than 30 days after the events results have been announced
final. If you send in results in October for an event you did in May they will
NOT be included in the championship

Run Championship 2010:
2010
will follow the same points system used in past couple of years; therefore points will be given
as follows:
1st:
20 pts - 2nd: 15pts - 3rd: 12pts - 4th: 10pts - 5th: 8pts - 6th: 7th - 7th: 6pts
- 8th: 5pts - 9th:
4pts - 10th: 3pts - 11th: 2pts - 12th: 1pt
Organisers of each event receive 20pts
You
must have a valid club card to participate in these events
No
Card = No Run
If
it is needed, your car will be scruitneered by the event organisers and if the
organisers feel you may cause PR problems along the route they reserve the right
to refuse you a run
No Spotlights are allowed to be attached to any car unless they came as standard from manufacturer. Even then these must not be used along the route unless weather condition require you to or in the event of an emergency. If you are seen by the event organisers to have you spots light on during the event for no reason other than those stated above you will be excluded from the event.
Any body seen driving that is likely to bring the sport in dispute (inc speeding, wheel spinning, handbrake turns and skid) will be automatically excluded from the event and possible banned from future events
